So I am “window” shopping upgrades for my FoST, and cant decide what to do first. I am teetering(sp?) between the following three:

What is up with that exhaust system? Does it really have 4 outlets? Where do the two side ones go? There’s no cutout in the bodywork for them, is there?

I usually do suspension, brakes then power :)

Those are the resonators on the side, you adjust them in and out, and it changes the tone. Very cool.

That is what I am leaning towards, you can have all the power in the world, but if you cant keep your wheels on the ground what good is it. But the exhaust sound would be nice.

Oh, gotcha! They looked like extra exhaust tips to me and I was very confused.
I actually worked on something like that for our Formula SAE racecar, because they test the dB level at a certain RPM, so we designed a resonator that would drastically cut sound but only at that RPM. It never did get implemented, too late in the season, and then they changed the rules the following year.

Get an upgraded FMIC before you do any performance mods or tuning. Those 2.0 EB engines heatsoak like mother fucker.

Cp-e has a nice fmic too. Either way for the parts I am going to drive down to Ogdensburg. Shipping to Canada is expesnive, drive to Odgensburg plus kinex fees is a lot cheaper. I found a site for the turbo back, around 200 usd.

I may or may not have been stalking a lot of Fusion forums because I may or may not have an unhealthy obsession with wanting that vehicle.
Anyways, the most recommended FMIC I saw on those forums were from Levels Performance. Apparently the guys builds them to order so they take a little longer to ship, but they’re really high quality. Makes them for the FoST and just about any other Ford 2.0 application.

I think I would, I have pretty much decided on the suspension, be my first modification on the FoST, other than the tint.
